Realtor morning routine
Real estate days are easily taken over by other people's schedules. A fixed morning routine, with follow-up done first, means the most important work happens before the phone gets busy.
Sample schedule for an office day
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 7:00 am | Up, water, breakfast |
| 7:45 am | Check the calendar and new leads (10 minutes, no replies yet) |
| 8:00 am | Get ready and leave (or walk to your desk) |
| 8:30 am | Market check: new listings, price changes, pending |
| 9:00 am | Lead follow-up block: calls, texts, emails |
| 11:00 am | Appointments, showings and paperwork |
| 12:30 pm | Lunch and a short break |
Before the phone takes over
On showing days
Do a shorter follow-up block (30 minutes) before the first showing, confirm every appointment, plan the route, and use the showing day checklist for the car.
On weekends
Weekends are often the busiest days. Decide in advance which calls you'll take and which can wait until Monday, and set an out-of-office message for the rest.
